Description

Penny Lane was released by the Beatles in February 1967 as a double A-side single with Strawberry Fields Forever and was subsequently included on their Magical Mystery Tour album. In the song McCartney recalls childhood memories of the people who lived and worked in Penny Lane – a Liverpool street and bus terminus.

In this arrangement the oboe takes the iconic trumpet part.
