Debussy’s gorgeous Petite Suite in a setting for wind quintet and piano …I’ve always loved Bill Holcombe’s arrangement of this wonderful piece for wind quintet. Debussy’s original score is for piano (four hands) so I’ve exploited both the wonderful pianistic writing and the colours added by Busser’s superb orchestration to create a satisfying and balanced arrangement for wind quintet and piano. Best of both worlds?
